Electronic direct mail (eDM), ezines (electronic newsletters) and e-newsletters (the same thing) are cost-effective methods of talking to your customers and prospective customers. Most eDMs have very specific word counts of teaser copy for each section, with links to encourage you to click through to the company’s website. Sometimes, the eDM is designed to be more chatty, giving more information up front. It all depends on your target audience.
